Laura Annella obtained a PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience from the University of Bologna. She has conducted doctoral work at the Institute of Cognitive Science (ISC), Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS), Bron, France. Her research interests involve the neural correlates of action perception, and sensori-motor properties of peripersonal space. These topics are investigated using Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) in healthy subjects as well as amputees.
