Rehabilitation
Iter diagnostico e terapeutico
Patients with acquired brain damage can access clinical services offered by the CsrNC (please seeĀ Contattare il Centro). The patient's cognitive deficits are assessed by the clinical staff that then takes a decision about the opportunity to enrol the patient in a neuropsychological rehabilitation program. The rehabilitation program is tailored on the individual patient, and therefore the length of the treatment is variable. At the end of the treatment, cognitive functions are newly assessed and compared with the initial performance (baseline), in order to estimate the effect of the training. Follow-up assessment are also performed in order to estimate the long-term outcomes of treatments.
The different phases of the treatment can be summarized as such:

Initial session - Neuropsychological baseline - Rehabilitative treatment- Post-treatment europsychological assessment- Follo-up assessments.
