The Centre for studies and researches in Cognitive Neuroscience (CsrNC), has been founded by the University of Bologna and supported by the Local Health Service (AUSL) of Cesena. CsrNC combines both clinical and scientific research with a central focus on cognitive disorders caused by mild Traumatic Brain Injury (mild TBI) and cerebro-vascular accidents (stroke and aneurism).
In CsrNC experimental and applied research are intimately interconnected.  In this way, the most recent and advanced neuropsychological discoveries are directly implemented in both pre-existing and innovative rehabilitation programs for cognitive disorders.

CsrNC is equipped of modern scientific equipments (eye-tracker, prismatic goggles, sensorial stimulation and computerized tests for diagnostic and therapeutic treatment), which makes the CsrNC one of the leading research centres for cognitive rehabilitation in Italy.

Patients from all over Italy treated at the Centre , have shown considerable improvements due to rehabilitation programs.
